To travel into the Arctic Circle in December is extreme. The roads are covered in snow, snow tires are mandatory, reindeer are everywhere, and the world is very white and very dark at the same time. Whilst at midday the sun just peeks over the horizon from 3pm until 10am all is darkness. Perfect for any snow born activity and if you are lucky perfect for viewing the Northern Lights, a photographic opportunity like no other.
